Client handoff

Let the client make the first update. Before you consider the site delivered.

Choose the content the client will maintain, prepare their access and rehearse a real change together. They leave with a working method for their own site.

Decide where each update belongs

Content written directly on a page

For an announcement or an introductory paragraph, show the client the editable text in Easy Mode. Have them choose the right language and make a change on the canvas.

Entries reused across the site

A team member, service or article may come from a collection. Show the source record and the fields to update. Check both the listing card and the detail page after the edit.

Module settings

A booking slot is managed in the booking module. Changing the words on a page does not change availability. Rehearse that distinction using one of the client’s actual services.

Check the handoff using the client’s account

Verify access separately from editing mode

Easy Mode simplifies the editing interface. Review the account’s permissions separately, including which projects and publishing actions it can access. Use the same account for the rehearsal.

Leave instructions tied to their site

Record where to change common content, how to save it and who reviews or publishes it. A short guide using the client’s page names and examples is easier to reuse than a general tour of the builder.

A handoff you can actually verify

Ask the client to update an opening time without your help. Can they find the right page, select the language, save the change and locate the preview? Have them explain who publishes it. The points where they hesitate become the guide you leave with the site.
