One minute to see how it works.
From the first sentence to the site online.
Your customers book online.
A roast for Sunday, a Christmas capon, a barbecue for twelve.
You set your hours, customers pick a slot on your site, the booking lands in your calendar.
A site that works while you work.
Four things that turn a visitor into a customer, in place from the first day.
An origin line on every cut
Born, raised and slaughtered for beef, reared and slaughtered for the other meats, plus the breed, exactly as on the labels in your window.
Breeders named, or simply placed on the map
Each farm with its region, its distance from the shop and its breed, and a line on why you buy there. No name if they prefer discretion.
Roasts, capons and legs of lamb ordered for a day
The cuts and weight, or the dish and the number of people, the collection day and a note for boning or tying. You confirm the price by phone.
Your counter on screen before any account
Choose the bright counter, the holiday orders, the dry-aged beef, the homemade charcuterie or the barbecue season, type your shop's name, and the preview shows it in your colours. Sign up later, if at all.
The pages you get
Not an empty template to fill in: pages already written and already linked to each other, with example content you correct instead of writing from scratch.

What stays at the shop
Payment and collection, the cold chain, your traceability records and the labels on the meat itself.
The mistakes thatcost you clients.
Seen on hundreds of sites in this trade, and each one is cheap to fix.
"French meat" with no detail
For beef, the law asks for the country of birth, rearing and slaughter; give them.
Prices only at the counter
A Sunday roast is budgeted at home; show the price per kilo.
A quality label you do not hold
Never claim Label Rouge or organic for a product that is not certified.
Christmas orders opened on 20 December
Put the deadline online in November, when families start planning.
Homemade pâté with no allergen line
Written allergen information is required for unpackaged food; fill in each product.
People who look for an independent butcher are not after the cheapest mince. They type butcher near me, butcher in Dijon or Christmas capon order, and the question behind the search is almost always the same: where does the meat come from, and who cut it.
Where was this beef born, raised and slaughtered?
Origin is the rule in the trade before it is a selling point. For beef, the label must give the country where the animal was born, where it was raised and where it was slaughtered, and the single word "Origin" followed by a country is only allowed when all three happened there. For pork, lamb and poultry, the label states the country of rearing and the country of slaughter. Each cut on your site has an origin and breed line that repeats what your window labels say: Charolais born and raised in Burgundy, free-range chicken from the Landes, lamb from the Pyrenees.
Name a Label Rouge, a PGI or an organic certification only when the product really holds it. Where it does not, the breed and the region already tell a careful customer what they want to know.
The farms behind the counter
The breeders section lists the farms you buy from, with their region, the distance from the shop and the breed they raise, plus a line on what makes them worth the trip. A farmer who prefers not to be named can stay anonymous: "a family farm 25 km away, Limousin cattle" is honest and already convincing. If you would rather not show this part at all, it can be switched off.
Price per kilo, cut by cut
The counter page groups beef, veal, lamb, pork, poultry and charcuterie, each cut with its photo, its price per kilo and a page of its own. That page is where your advice belongs: how long to rest a rib of beef, which cheaper cut braises just as well, how thick to cut chops for the barbecue. Customers who compare before coming in see that a good butcher sells knowledge with the meat.
A butcher website that takes orders for Saturday and for Christmas
The order form asks for the cuts and the weight, or simply the dish and the number of people when the customer does not know which cut to choose, then the day of collection and a free line for thickness, boning, tying or stuffing. You call back to confirm and give a price, and payment happens at the counter.
Holiday orders get their own section on the home page: capons and turkeys for Christmas, the New Year roasts, the leg of lamb for Easter, each with the date after which you stop taking orders. Publish it in November; the last week before Christmas is not the moment to discover how many capons to order from the farm.
Sausages, pâtés and terrines from your workshop
Homemade charcuterie deserves its own pages. Sold unpackaged, it must come with written allergen information at the shop: mustard in a sausage, gluten in a stuffing, milk in a white pudding. Each product page has an allergens line, so a customer with an allergy can check at home.
Enter five cuts with their origin and price, and see your counter online before Saturday's queue.

Before you start.Everything else, just ask.
What people ask before they get going.
Which origin information does the site show for each cut?
Each cut has an origin and breed line that you fill in: for beef, born, raised and slaughtered; for pork, lamb and poultry, the country of rearing and of slaughter, as on your labels.
Can customers buy meat online and have it delivered?
No. They order cuts for a given day, you call back with the price, and they pay and collect at the shop. There is no basket and no delivery.
A breeder does not want his name online. What do I write?
The region, the distance and the breed are enough. Each farm is a row you write yourself, and nothing forces you to give a name.
How early should I open Christmas orders?
As early as suits your suppliers. The holiday orders section shows your deadline, and one of the five designs puts the order form on the first screen for that season.
Where do the allergens of my charcuterie go?
On the product page, in its allergens line. Written allergen information is required for food sold unpackaged; the site lets customers read it before they come.
I sell dry-aged beef. Can the site show the ageing?
Yes. The description of each cut is yours to write, ageing time included, and one design is built around aged meat.
