What you get

A site that works while you work.

Four things that turn a visitor into a customer, in place from the first day.

Construction and maintenance on one site

Concrete, shell, renovation, weekly care, opening, winterising: each service has its page with a price and a timing. Families see that you build the pool and look after it for years afterwards.

Your best pool on show in the preview

Pick a design, summery, night-lit or blueprint, and key in your pool firm's name: your future site takes shape line by line. The account waits until the result looks like your pools.

The garden visit planned in advance

The form asks for the address, the type of project and the size wanted or existing. You check digger access and distances before leaving, and spend the visit on the project itself.

The rules explained before signature

Prior declaration or permit, compulsory safety device, tax declaration within 90 days, drought orders: owners discover them on your site, not halfway through the works.

The pages you get

Not an empty template to fill in: pages already written and already linked to each other, with example content you correct instead of writing from scratch.

01Budget

What it really
costs.

Real figures, including what you pay elsewhere and what you no longer pay here.

Drawing up the site and trying it: free

No charge and no card to create the site or watch it take shape. Publishing it on a domain of your own costs €14 excl. VAT monthly, settled once a year, with hosting and an SSL certificate thrown in.

Spring openings booked online

Online booking comes as an option from €19 excl. VAT a month; customers' payments land in your Stripe account, untouched by Communik. FAQ, reviews, gallery and blog are available as add-ons.

Pumps, liners and chemicals: off the site

Equipment, materials, chemicals and machine hire stay on your quotes and invoices; a domain name, if you do not own one, is also bought separately.

02To avoid

The mistakes that
cost you clients.

Seen on hundreds of sites in this trade, and each one is cheap to fix.

Showing only works in progress

Trenches and formwork do not sell a pool; finished basins in their gardens do.

A builder's site that forgets maintenance

Owners want to know who will look after the pool once it is built.

Letting owners discover the tax declaration

Mention the 90-day filing; it is the kind of detail that builds trust.

Ignoring how machines reach the garden

Ask for the address first, then check access before quoting.

Promising a summer fill during a drought order

Local restrictions can delay filling; say so before signature.

The search starts early in the year. A family wants to swim next summer, an owner sees the liner fading, another opens the cover in April to find green water. On their phone they type pool builder + Vertou, or pool maintenance near me, and compare two or three firms. Your site has to show both sides of your trade.

Shell or concrete? Show both, with their lead times

That is the first decision a family faces, and they rarely understand the difference. Give each type of pool its own page: concrete for any shape and size, shell for a faster build, renovation for an old basin that needs a new liner or coating. Each page states what is included, a starting price and the usual length of the works. A family that knows a shell pool takes a few weeks and a concrete one longer can plan the garden, the budget and the summer. The four steps of a project, from the garden visit to the first swim, are laid out on the home page, so they always know what comes next.

Spring opening, weekly care, winterising: the season that keeps the business going

You build a pool once and maintain it for years. Your site presents that second trade properly: spring opening, weekly maintenance, filtration and equipment, safety devices, winterising, each with its price and timing. One of the five designs is built entirely around the year's calendar for firms that live mostly from maintenance. An owner who sees that you will look after the basin once it is built hesitates far less before signing.

Town hall, safety, tax office: three duties that come with a buried pool

  • An uncovered pool of 10 to 100 m² needs a prior declaration at the town hall; beyond 100 m², or with a high shelter, a building permit.
  • Every private in-ground pool must have at least one standardised safety device: barrier, alarm, cover or shelter.
  • The pool must be declared to the tax office within 90 days of completion.

The site also mentions drought orders, which can restrict filling a new pool. Owners who learn all this from you, before signing, trust you with the paperwork you offer to prepare.

Finished pools, photographed in the gardens they belong to

Families choose a basin that looks like the one they imagine. Photograph each pool in its garden and caption it with the structure, the coating, the town and the length of the works: a family pool set in a lawn, a lap pool with a terrace, an infinity edge in mosaic, a pool with its pool house. Pictures of finished pools, not of trenches, do the selling. Next to them sit your four commitments: a visit and a written quote, ten years of cover on the structure, paperwork prepared for the owner, one contact before and after. A night-lit design suits builders working at the high end.

A pool builder website that prepares the site visit

The quote form asks for the garden's address, whether the project is a new pool, a renovation or maintenance, and the size wanted or that of the existing basin. Before you go, you check access for the digger, the slope of the land and the distance from your depot. You arrive with the checks already done and leave with a quote half written.

Upload your finest pool to the preview, add your maintenance prices, and see your pool business online before the spring rush.

Questions

Before you start.
Everything else, just ask.

What people ask before they get going.

I sell chemicals and equipment in a shop. Can the site sell them online?

No. The site presents your services and your shop, but it takes no orders or payments for products. Customers come to the shop or ask you directly.

Can I offer seasonal maintenance contracts?

Yes, as services with a starting price and their frequency. The site does not run paid subscriptions: the contract itself is signed with you, as it is today.

What does the site say about alarms, barriers and covers?

That every private in-ground pool must have at least one standardised safety device, and that you can advise on and fit the one that suits the family and the garden.

Can owners book a spring opening online?

Yes, with the booking calendar offered as an option from €19 excl. VAT per month. Otherwise the form passes on the address and the type of request, and you ring the owner back.

My pools are high-end, often with an infinity edge. Is there a design for that?

Yes. One design in indigo with underwater lights puts the finished pools first, at night, for builders who work on premium projects.

Does the site mention drought restrictions?

Yes. The "good to know" section explains that a local drought order can restrict filling a pool, so owners plan the timing of the works with you.
