Create an electrician website that turns searches into call-outs
- 5Create your site
- 6Go live
Steps 5 and 6 happen after you create your account: the site is generated with your answers, then you publish it on your own domain when you are ready.
What your website doesfor you.
Four things that turn a visitor into a customer, in place from the first day.
Your number, impossible to miss
Tap-to-call on every screen, hours and emergency availability stated plainly, so the visitor calls instead of going back to Google.
Quotes requested, not chased
A form that asks the right things (job type, address, photos of the existing setup) so you can price most jobs without a first visit.
Certifications where they count
Qualifications, insurance and compliance certificates displayed right next to the price question, where doubt actually shows up.
The towns you really cover
One page per area you serve, so you show up for your own neighbourhood, not for a city three hours away.
The pages you get
Not an empty template to fill in: pages already written and already linked to each other, with example content you correct instead of writing from scratch.

Your next customer is standing in the dark, phone in hand. They will give your electrician website about ten seconds, and their opinion is half formed already: just 4% of consumers say they never read online business reviews, and 74% check two or more review sites before choosing a local business (BrightLocal, 2025, US panel). Ten seconds, one decision. Everything on that page either helps them call you or gets in the way.
Six blocks every electrician website needs
- A tappable phone number, at the top of every page, with the hours you genuinely answer. On mobile it should be one thumb away.
- An honest response window. "Someone answers day and night, an electrician on site within 90 minutes" beats "24/7 emergency service" every time. One is a promise you can keep. The other is wallpaper.
- One page per job: panel upgrade, EV charger installation, rewiring, outdoor lighting, fault finding. People search for the job, not for you.
- Your service area, named. Towns and postcodes, not "and surrounding areas".
- Licence number, insurance, certifications, visible without scrolling twice. Cheap to publish, expensive to leave out.
- Proof: photos of your own jobs, not a stock shot of a smiling man in a hard hat, plus your recent reviews.
The quote form is not an emergency line
This is where most advice goes wrong. An eight field quote request is fine for a kitchen rewire someone is planning for next month. For a tripped board on a Saturday night, it is a locked door. Keep the form for planned work, ask for a photo of the consumer unit inside it (that one field will save you a wasted visit), and let the emergency go straight to the phone. Two paths, two states of mind.
Say something about pricing
You do not need a full rate card. A published starting call-out fee filters out the person hunting free advice over the phone and reassures the one who is ready to book. Vague pricing does not protect your margin. It hands the call to the electrician who published theirs.
As for the site itself, if someone quotes you four figures for six pages of text and a contact button, ask what exactly is being built. The Communik electrician module already ships with these blocks in place, service pages and quote form included. You add your area, your licence and your job photos, then publish when it looks right. Creating it costs nothing.
Before you start.Everything else, just ask.
What people ask before they get going.
Can clients request a quote without calling?
Yes: a form collects the job type, address and photos of the existing installation, so you can price most jobs before moving.
Can I show my certifications?
Yes: qualifications, insurance and compliance certificates get their own space, exactly where visitors wonder whether to trust you.
Can I list the towns I cover?
Yes, one page per area. That is what makes you appear for your own neighbourhood rather than for the whole region.
How much does it cost?
Free to build; publishing on your domain starts at €14/month, with hosting, SSL and SEO included.
Another trade?
Each one comes with its own live demo site you can browse before you start: same editor, same price, content already written for that job.
