What you get

A site that works while you work.

Four things that turn a visitor into a customer, in place from the first day.

The planning thresholds drawn to scale

The Planning Squares design draws 5, 20 and 40 m² side by side: the hesitant visitor understands his case in one look.

Prices for a real size, not "from €X"

"From €18,000 for 15 m² fitted" means something; a price without a surface means nothing to someone imagining his veranda.

Your verandas, in their gardens

Each project shows the structure and glazing, the town and the days on site. Clients choose a veranda builder on what he has built.

Five veranda designs to compare with your name

Through Glass, Louvre Night, Orangery Arch, Planning Squares or Awning Stripes: see how each frames a veranda carrying your name.

The pages you get

Not an empty template to fill in: pages already written and already linked to each other, with example content you correct instead of writing from scratch.

The checklist

What your website
must contain.

The sections that actually bring in enquiries, and the ones you can skip.

Offers with a fitted price for a stated size

Veranda, pergola, glass extension, carport, roof, blinds, renovation.

Projects with their structure and glazing

The garden they stand in, the year, and the days the fitters needed.

The planning thresholds

5, 20 and 40 m², architect above 150 m², heritage architect in protected areas.

The development tax and the tax declaration

For a closed veranda, not for an open pergola.

Orientation and glazing advice

Solar control facing south, insulated roof facing north.

A quote form with the area and the side of the house

Address, size in mind, veranda, pergola or carport.

01Budget

What it really
costs.

Real figures, including what you pay elsewhere and what you no longer pay here.

Designing the veranda site

Shaping the site is free from first sketch to final check, and the preview never needs payment details.

Online, with showroom slots if you want them

Opening it to the public on your domain means €14 excl. VAT monthly, charged once a year, encryption and hosting included. Showroom visits and measurements bookable online start at €19 excl. VAT per month as an extra, with zero commission on deposits. A gallery suits a veranda builder well, and can be added at any time.

What stays at the workshop

Plans and elevations, planning files once filed, profile and glazing orders, quotes, invoices and your insurance certificates.

02To avoid

The mistakes that
cost you clients.

Seen on hundreds of sites in this trade, and each one is cheap to fix.

Silence on the town hall

The visitor who fears the permit does not call; explaining it is your best argument.

Prices with no surface

"From €9,000" for which size? Without it, the figure reassures nobody.

Catalogue photos instead of your projects

Manufacturers' pictures are seen on ten sites; your verandas are seen only on yours.

A south-facing veranda sold with no word on heat

The client who swelters in July remembers who sold it.

Pergolas and verandas mixed up on one page

They do not answer the same need, nor the same rules.

A veranda is planned months in advance, usually in winter for the spring. People imagine the room, then worry about two things: the price and the town hall. They search veranda builder near me, bioclimatic pergola Brest or veranda without building permit, and keep the sites that answer both questions with finished projects to back them up.

Do I need a permit for a 20 m² veranda?

It is the question that stops most projects before they start. The answer fits in a few lines: up to 5 m², no formality; from 5 to 20 m², a prior declaration, extended to 40 m² in an urban zone covered by a local plan; beyond that, a building permit, and an architect when the house goes over 150 m² in total. In a protected area, the heritage architect gives an opinion. Say it on your site, and say that you prepare the plans and forms. The Planning Squares design even draws the three thresholds to scale.

A veranda builder website that gives prices for a real size

"From €X" means nothing to someone imagining a room. Give a fitted price for a stated size: an aluminium veranda of 15 m², a bioclimatic pergola of 12 m², a carport for one car. Then each offer page lists what is included, what changes the price and the lead time, planning file included. A couple with a budget sees at once whether they are looking at a veranda, a pergola or a roof replacement on the veranda they already have.

Closed veranda or open pergola: not the same tax

Clients often discover it late. A closed and covered veranda creates floor area: the development tax applies and the construction is declared to the tax office within 90 days. An open pergola creates none. In a block of flats, a veranda on a shared terrace or one that changes the facade first needs a vote of the co-owners. Writing it on the site avoids the bad surprise after signing, and shows you know the job beyond the profiles.

South-facing, north-facing: glazing is not a detail

A veranda that is pleasant in January and unbearable in July is the classic complaint. Explain your choices: solar-control glazing and a ventilated roof facing south, an insulated roof facing north, blinds where the sun hits late in the day. Each project in your list shows its structure and glazing, which helps visitors compare with their own garden. Renovation counts too: an old polycarbonate roof replaced by insulated panels often turns a forgotten veranda back into a room.

From the orangery to the summer terrace

Through Glass shows the garden through anthracite profiles for most veranda builders. Louvre Night shows pergola louvres from noon to midnight. Orangery Arch draws round arches for character houses. Awning Stripes speaks to families who want their summer outside. The quote form asks the address, the area in mind and the side of the house in all five.

Fill in your company name at the top and check that the thresholds, the prices and your verandas tell your story better than a brochure would.

Questions

Before you start.
Everything else, just ask.

What people ask before they get going.

Does the site explain when a building permit is needed?

Yes: no formality up to 5 m², a prior declaration from 5 to 20 m² or up to 40 m² in an urban zone with a local plan, a building permit beyond, and an architect when the house goes over 150 m² in total.

Can I say that I prepare the planning file?

Yes, if you do. The module presents it as a promise: you prepare the plans and the forms, the client signs and files them at the town hall. Adjust the text if your practice differs.

How does the site talk about the development tax?

It says that a closed and covered veranda creates floor area, so the tax applies and the construction is declared to the tax office within 90 days, while an open pergola creates none. No amount is quoted, because it depends on the town.

Can I show both verandas and pergolas?

Each offer has its own page. The Louvre Night design is drawn for bioclimatic pergolas and terraces, Awning Stripes for pergolas, blinds and carports, Through Glass for most veranda builders.

Can visitors book a showroom visit or a measuring appointment online?

They can, once you add bookings, from €19 excl. VAT monthly. Visitors choose a Saturday at the showroom or a weekday for the measurements; deposits, if any, are yours in full via Stripe.

I also replace windows and doors. Which module suits me?

For windows, doors and shutters in existing openings, the joiner module is the right one. This module is for verandas, glass extensions, pergolas and carports.
