What you get

A site that works while you work.

Four things that turn a visitor into a customer, in place from the first day.

Capacity shown room by room

Each room or outdoor space shows its seated and standing capacity, its floor area and a photo, so planners know before they visit whether their guest list fits.

Packages for every kind of event

Wedding weekend, weekday evening, seminar day, brunch: each package has its page, its duration and its starting price, which you can hide if you quote everything.

House rules written before the party

Caterer policy, music and neighbours, arrival and departure, deposit and security deposit: the questions that cause disputes are answered on the site.

Your rooms and prices, previewed live

You see the venue site with your own rooms, capacities and packages in the live preview, and only create an account if you want to put it online.

The pages you get

Not an empty template to fill in: pages already written and already linked to each other, with example content you correct instead of writing from scratch.

must contain.

The sections that actually bring in enquiries, and the ones you can skip.

Seated and standing capacity per room

With floor area and a photo of the space set up.

Hire packages with their duration

How long the venue is yours, for how many guests, from what price.

The caterer policy in plain words

Free choice or approved list, catering kitchen, corkage.

Music and quiet hours

The legal sound limit, the limiter, the time the music stops.

The path from visit to keys

Request, visit, contract and deposit, inventory.

A date request with the event type

Dates considered, wedding or seminar, number of guests.

01Budget

What it really
costs.

Real figures, including what you pay elsewhere and what you no longer pay here.

Putting your venue online

Building the site and previewing it are free, with no bank card. Publishing it on your own domain costs €14 excl. VAT a month, invoiced once a year, hosting and SSL certificate included.

Visit slots and extra pages

Online booking of visits is available from €19 excl. VAT a month, with payments going to your own Stripe account and no commission taken by Communik. A FAQ, a reviews page, a gallery or a blog can be added later.

Outside the website

Your domain name if you need one, your hire contracts and deposits, your insurance and the safety rules of your licensed venue.

02To avoid

The mistakes that
cost you clients.

Seen on hundreds of sites in this trade, and each one is cheap to fix.

One capacity figure for the whole venue

Eighty seated and a hundred and fifty standing are not the same promise: give both, room by room.

Leaving the caterer question unanswered

Visitors who cannot find it assume the caterer is imposed and move on.

Hiding the music curfew until the contract

Write the time the music stops on the site; it avoids a tense conversation at midnight.

Wedding photos only

Show the empty rooms too, so companies and birthday hosts can picture their own layout.

No word on access

Parking, step-free entrance, toilets: say what exists so guests with reduced mobility can plan.

A venue is rarely chosen on a first visit. It is chosen at home, on a laptop, by someone comparing a dozen places against a guest list and a budget. They search wedding venue or reception venue near Tours, look for numbers, and close any page that makes them phone to get them.

Seated dinner or standing drinks: how many can you take?

The same hall can hold eighty people at round tables and a hundred and fifty standing with canapés. Give each room or outdoor space its own card with its seated and standing capacity, its floor area and a photo taken empty, so planners can picture their layout. If you only have one room, a setting removes the room list and keeps the page simple.

State plainly that the maximum capacity is the one your venue is licensed for and that it is never exceeded. It reassures families as much as companies.

Is the caterer free or imposed?

This question decides more bookings than the decor. If clients bring the caterer of their choice, say so on the home page, describe the catering kitchen (cold room, ovens, washing area) and mention whether you charge corkage. If you work with a list of approved caterers, name them. Either way, the answer has to be on the site, not hidden in the contract.

Music, neighbours and the hour the sound goes off

Hosts want to dance; your neighbours want to sleep. Explain the rule before it becomes a dispute. In France, a venue playing amplified music must stay under 102 dB(A) averaged over fifteen minutes, which is why a sound limiter is part of your equipment. The time the music stops is your own house rule: write it clearly, along with arrival and departure times and when the cleaning team comes in.

From the first visit to the hand-over of the keys

Booking a venue follows a predictable path, and showing it removes a lot of back and forth:

  • a request with the date or dates being considered, the type of event and the number of guests;
  • a visit on appointment, then a written quote;
  • a signed contract and a deposit to secure the date, the balance paid before the event;
  • the keys, an inventory, and a security deposit returned after the walk-through.

Percentages and deadlines are yours to set. The site presents them as the venue's conditions, never as law.

Reception venue hire priced by package, not by guesswork

A wedding weekend, a Saturday from noon to night, a weekday evening, a seminar day, a day-after brunch: each package has a page with how long the venue is yours, the number of guests it suits and a starting price. Prefer to quote each event? One setting hides the prices. Add what is included (tables, chairs, parking, final cleaning) and visitors can compare you with other venues line by line.

The request form asks for the date or dates, the type of event and the number of guests, with room for notes such as a caterer already booked or a guest using a wheelchair.

Put your rooms, capacities and packages online tonight, and let the next visitor arrive already knowing your venue fits.

Questions

Before you start.
Everything else, just ask.

What people ask before they get going.

Can visitors check whether my date is free?

The site sends a date request that you answer; it does not display a live calendar. Add online booking (€19 excl. VAT a month and up) and visitors can reserve a time to view the venue.

I hire out a single hall. Is the room list useful?

No need for it: one setting removes the list of rooms, and the capacity of your hall goes on the home page and in each package.

Can I hide my prices and quote each event?

Yes. A setting hides the starting prices of every package, which then invite visitors to request a quote.

How do I present the noise rules without sounding strict?

The site separates the legal limit (102 dB(A) averaged over fifteen minutes for amplified music) from your own rule on when the music stops, written as a courtesy to the neighbours.

Can I show weddings, birthdays and seminars on the same site?

Yes. Each type of event has its own package page, and reviews can come from a wedding, a birthday and a company day.

Can I explain my caterer policy?

Yes, in the practical rules: free choice of caterer or an approved list, the catering kitchen, and whether you charge corkage.
