Integrations: What Communik Connects To
Templates suited to each tool, with what is built in (Stripe, maps, YouTube, WhatsApp) and what you connect with a link or an embed code.
Guide
A website often relies on outside services: payments, maps, videos, messaging, newsletters. This page lists the templates suited to each one and says plainly how each tool connects to Communik. Some have a dedicated element or setting, others take a link or an embed code you paste in.
Built Into Communik
Stripe lets the booking module take deposits and payments on your own Stripe account, connected in one click, and any button can point to a Stripe Payment Link. Google Maps appears through map sections that display a Google Maps embed of your address in contact pages. YouTube and Vimeo have their own video elements, and a generic embed element displays any page by its address. WhatsApp has a dedicated button: you add your contacts, their numbers and their hours in the site settings, and the button appears on the pages that carry it.
Connected With a Link or an Embed Code
Mailchimp, Calendly, Instagram and Google Analytics have no dedicated setting. The templates listed for them are sections suited to that use: newsletter signup, appointment booking, gallery, and so on. To connect the service, paste the embed code it gives you (a Mailchimp form, a Calendly widget, an Instagram post) into an HTML element, or simply link a button to your page on that service. A tracking tag such as Google Analytics goes in the site's custom code, and the cookie banner lets you declare it so visitors can accept or refuse it. For appointments, the Communik booking module also works without any outside tool.
Combining Several Services
Put a Stripe Payment Link on your pricing page, a map on your contact page and a newsletter form on your blog. Each template follows your site's theme, whatever the industry template, minimal style or dark theme you choose. Content loaded from an outside service keeps that service's own look.
Questions
Do I need developer skills to connect a service?
No for Stripe, maps, YouTube and WhatsApp, which have their own element or setting. For the others, you copy the embed code or link the service gives you and paste it into an HTML element or a button.
Are integrations included for free?
The templates and elements are included in your Communik account. The outside services themselves (Stripe, Mailchimp, Calendly, etc.) have their own pricing and require their own accounts.
Can I add a tracking tag like Google Analytics?
Yes, through the site custom code. Declare it in the cookie banner settings so visitors can accept or refuse it. Communik also shows its own visitor statistics for your site.
