What you get

A site that works while you work.

Four things that turn a visitor into a customer, in place from the first day.

A price and a turnaround for every job

Service, puncture, brakes, wheel true or e-bike check: each job shows its price and how long the bike stays, sorted by family.

The fault described before drop-off

The request asks for the type of bike, what it does wrong and the day it can come in, so you order the part before it arrives.

Try it with your own workshop name

Type the name of your shop, your town and what you repair: the preview shows your jobs and hours in a design straight away. Opening an account comes later, and only if you keep the site.

Marking and e-bike law already written

The national marking rule and the limits of electric assistance are written correctly, so customers read the facts before asking.

The pages you get

Not an empty template to fill in: pages already written and already linked to each other, with example content you correct instead of writing from scratch.

What is added to your project

Ready-to-use databases. Edit one row and every page that shows it updates.

    The checklist

    What your website
    must contain.

The sections that actually bring in enquiries, and the ones you can skip.

Service, puncture, brakes: a price for each

The common jobs priced, or given a starting price, in families.

Days in the workshop, job by job

How long the bike stays, so riders can plan without it.

The bike type in every request

City, electric, cargo or road, and what is wrong, before drop-off.

    The marking rule, stated correctly

What the law requires since 2021, and that you mark on request.

Bikes to try, with what to know

New and second-hand bikes, each with its type and price.

    Reviews describing the repair

Riders telling what you fixed and how the bike rides now.

    01Budget

    What it really
    costs.

Real figures, including what you pay elsewhere and what you no longer pay here.

    Putting the workshop online

Creating the site and looking at the preview are free, and no bank card is requested. Running it on your own domain is €14 excl. VAT per month, charged annually, with hosting and SSL included.

A real slot calendar, if you want one

The booking option starts at €19 excl. VAT per month; customer payments reach your own Stripe account and Communik takes no commission. FAQ, reviews, gallery and blog modules are there when you need them.

Still handled at the workshop bench

Registering markings with your marking operator, ordering parts, taking payment and, if you have none, buying a domain name.

    02To avoid

    The mistakes that
    cost you clients.

Seen on hundreds of sites in this trade, and each one is cheap to fix.

A service menu with no figures

A rider comparing three workshops calls the one that shows a figure.

Calling a speed bike an e-bike

Above 25 km/h of assistance it is a moped, with its own obligations.

Advertising brands you do not stock

Name only what you sell or service; a wrong brand brings the wrong visitors.

A workshop request that ignores electric assistance

An e-bike needs different checks; ask before it comes in.

Hiding the workshop behind the shop

Most visitors arrive with a repair, so put the workshop first.

Cycling has changed the workload of local bike shops. Commuters on electric bikes, parents with cargo bikes and weekend riders on gravel frames all need servicing, and they look for it on their phones: bike repair near me, bike shop in Nantes, sometimes just "puncture repair" and the name of their street. What they want first is a price and a date.

How much is a service, and when do I get my bike back?

List your workshop jobs one by one: a basic service, a full service, a puncture, a wheel true, new brake pads, a check-up for an electric bike. Give each a price, or a starting price, and how long the bike stays with you. Grouping them by family, servicing, repairs, wheels and tyres, electric bikes, lets a rider find their case in seconds. A posted price does not tie you to a part you have not seen yet: state that any extra work is quoted and agreed before you touch it.

The bike described before it reaches the stand

"It makes a noise" tells you nothing. The workshop request asks for the type of bike, the brand if they know it, what it needs or what it does, rubbing, slipping, squeaking, and the day they can drop it off. A note field covers the rest: electric, cargo, needed back by a set day. You reach the stand knowing whether to order a part. If you would rather let customers pick a time themselves, the booking option adds a real calendar of workshop slots.

Marking and electric assistance, the rules written once

Two points of French law come up at the counter every week, and the site states them as facts:

    • Since 2021, every bike sold by a professional, new or used, must carry an identification number registered in the national file. You mark the bikes you sell, and other bikes on request.
    • An electric bike assists up to 25 km/h with a motor of 250 W at most, and counts as a bicycle. A speed bike assisting up to 45 km/h is a moped: registration, insurance and an approved helmet.

Having this in writing saves you explaining it again, and shows a newcomer that you know the subject.

New and used bikes on your bike shop website

If you sell bikes, give each one its type, what a buyer should know and its price: a city bike for short trips, a cargo bike that carries two children, a second-hand road bike overhauled in your workshop. Invite visitors to come and try one rather than promising stock you may not have on the day. If you only repair, hide the section in one click and the site stays a workshop site.

Workshop rules that reassure a first-time customer

A rider leaving an expensive electric bike with someone they have never met needs reassurance. Write your rules plainly: the price agreed before the work, the brands you accept, the worn parts handed back, a short test ride after every repair. Add your hours, your address and reviews from customers who describe the repair you did for them. Those details, far more than a slogan, decide who gets the bike.

Post your workshop prices and turnaround today, and let the next flat tyre in town roll straight to your door.

    Questions

    Before you start.
    Everything else, just ask.

What people ask before they get going.

Can riders book a workshop slot online?

The site includes a workshop request that you confirm yourself. For a real calendar of slots, the booking option starts at €19 excl. VAT a month, and any payment lands in your own Stripe account, with no commission for Communik.

Do I have to post a price for every repair?

No, but a starting price for the common jobs helps people decide. The page explains that extra work is quoted and agreed before it is done.

Is the bike marking rule on the site accurate?

Yes. It says what the law has required since 2021: bikes sold by a professional, new or used, carry an identification number registered in the national file.

I only repair bikes. Can the bikes for sale disappear?

Yes. The bikes for sale are an option you switch off, and the home page then focuses on the workshop.

How does the site explain the difference between an e-bike and a speed bike?

A short paragraph gives the limits: assistance up to 25 km/h and 250 W for an electric bike, while a speed bike assisting up to 45 km/h is a moped with registration and insurance.

Can I show how long each job keeps a bike in?

Yes. Each job has a turnaround field, shown on its card and its page, and you can hide it if your delays vary too much.
