What you get

A site that works while you work.

Four things that turn a visitor into a customer, in place from the first day.

The warranty question answered upfront

A clear paragraph on servicing outside the dealer network, based on the European regulation, so owners of recent cars call you without hesitating.

Price and time off the road for every job

Oil change, brakes, tyres, timing belt or diagnosis: each service shows a starting price and how long the car stays in, grouped by family.

Your garage name, your town, a design to look at

Enter the garage name, its town and what you do and do not do, and the preview builds your pages around it. You only create an account if you decide to go on.

Used cars with the figures buyers want

Year, mileage, fuel, price and warranty on every car for sale, with its own page and a form to ask about it.

The pages you get

Not an empty template to fill in: pages already written and already linked to each other, with example content you correct instead of writing from scratch.

What is added to your project

Ready-to-use databases. Edit one row and every page that shows it updates.

    The checklist

    What your website
    must contain.

The sections that actually bring in enquiries, and the ones you can skip.

Starting prices for servicing, brakes and tyres

Everyday jobs, each with a figure to compare.

Time off the road for each job

How long they will need another way to get to work.

    The manufacturer warranty, explained

What the European regulation allows, in a few lines.

Make, model and registration in each request

Enough to check the parts before the car arrives.

    Re-use parts offered

The legal obligation stated, and a cheaper option for those who want it.

Reviews about a repair that held

Drivers describing the fault you found and fixed.

    01Budget

    What it really
    costs.

Real figures, including what you pay elsewhere and what you no longer pay here.

    Getting the garage online

You build and preview the site for free, without entering a card. Going live on your own domain name costs €14 excl. VAT a month, invoiced for the year, with hosting and SSL included.

    Online slots and extra modules

Letting drivers pick their own slot costs from €19 excl. VAT a month extra. Customer payments are paid out to your Stripe account, and Communik keeps none of it. FAQ, reviews, gallery and blog modules can be switched on later.

    What stays in the workshop

Diagnostic tools, invoicing and parts ordering, taking payment, and a domain name if you do not own one.

    02To avoid

    The mistakes that
    cost you clients.

Seen on hundreds of sites in this trade, and each one is cheap to fix.

Saying you carry out the contrôle technique

Only an approved centre does; talk about pre-inspection and repairs.

Prices hidden until the car is on the lift

A starting price per job reassures before the first call.

    Leaving warranty owners in doubt

Without a word on the regulation, owners of recent cars go to the dealer.

Used cars without mileage or year

Buyers skip any listing that lacks the basic figures.

A workshop number that is hard to tap on a phone

Drivers often call from the roadside; keep the number one tap away.

Drivers rarely compare garages until they need one. A light comes on, a tyre goes flat, a service is overdue, and they type garage near me or car repair in Toulouse into their phone. They want to know what it will cost, how long the car will be off the road, and whether an independent workshop is a safe choice for a car that is still under warranty.

Will an independent garage void my manufacturer warranty?

It is the first doubt of many owners, and the answer deserves a clear place on your site. Under European rules (Regulation 461/2010), a car can be serviced outside the manufacturer's network without losing its warranty, provided the servicing schedule is followed and the parts are of equivalent quality. Say that you follow the schedule and fill in the service book, paper or digital, and the doubt is gone before the first call.

Starting prices and time off the road, job by job

List what the workshop does: an oil change, a manufacturer service, brake pads and discs, tyres fitted and balanced, a timing belt, a diagnosis, air conditioning. Give each one a starting price and how much time the car will spend off the road. A starting price is fair because the final bill depends on the model; write that any extra work is quoted and approved before you begin. French consumer law (article L224-67 of the Code de la consommation) also requires repairers to offer re-use parts when they exist: say that you do, and drivers watching their budget will notice.

The registration number in the request saves a phone call

A booking request that only says "brakes" leaves you guessing. The garage form asks for the make, the model and the engine, the registration number, the job and the day the driver would like to drop the car off, with room for a noise, a warning light or the mileage. You can check the parts before the car arrives and suggest a time you will keep. If you want drivers to choose a slot themselves, the booking option adds a calendar of workshop slots.

Before the contrôle technique, never instead of it

The French roadworthiness test, the contrôle technique, is carried out by an approved test centre, not by a garage. What you can offer is a pre-inspection before the test and the repairs after an unfavourable result, before the re-test at the centre. Wording it this way keeps the site accurate, and a driver who leaves the centre with a list of defects knows where to bring the car.

Used cars on a garage website: the details buyers check

If you sell used cars, give each one its year, mileage, fuel, price and the warranty you offer, with photos taken in daylight. Buyers compare these figures before anything else, and a car without them is skipped. If you do not sell cars, hide the section and the site stays focused on the workshop. Add your opening hours, your address, the courtesy car if you have one and reviews from drivers who describe a repair you carried out.

Put your prices, your time off the road and your answer on the warranty online now, and be the garage local drivers ring first.

    Questions

    Before you start.
    Everything else, just ask.

What people ask before they get going.

Does servicing a car under warranty in an independent garage void it?

No, under EU Regulation 461/2010, as long as the manufacturer's servicing schedule is followed and the parts are of equivalent quality. The site explains it in plain words.

Do I have to offer re-use parts?

Yes. Article L224-67 of the French consumer code requires repairers to offer parts from the circular economy when they exist. The site says you do, which also reassures drivers on a budget.

Can my site say that I carry out the contrôle technique?

No. Only an approved centre carries out the test. The site talks about a pre-inspection before it and the repairs after an unfavourable result.

Can drivers book a slot online?

The site comes with a booking request you confirm by phone. A slot calendar is available as the booking add-on, from €19 excl. VAT monthly; payments, if any, are received on your Stripe account with zero commission from Communik.

I do not sell used cars. Can I remove that section?

Yes. Turn off the used cars option in the settings; the home page then keeps to servicing and repairs.

How do I show how long a car stays off the road?

Each service has a time off the road, displayed on its card and its page. You can hide it if your delays depend too much on parts.
