What you get

A site that works while you work.

Four things that turn a visitor into a customer, in place from the first day.

A price grid by dog size

Each service shows a price for small, medium and large dogs, the weights that define them and the usual time. Owners know what a full groom will cost for their Spaniel before they pick up the phone.

Your groomed dogs, named and labelled

A gallery of dogs photographed on the table before going home, each with its name, breed and cut. Owners see the coats you handle every week, not pictures bought from a library.

Your rules for nervous dogs

Four welfare rules are already written: one dog at a time, no sedatives, comfort before looks, a price agreed before starting. Keep the ones you apply, rewrite the others in your own words.

Your salon on screen as you type its name

Type the salon name and phone number, pick one of five designs (bright bath salon, velvet and brass, booking first, before and after gallery, grooming van) and the preview changes at once. An account comes later, only if you keep it.

The pages you get

Not an empty template to fill in: pages already written and already linked to each other, with example content you correct instead of writing from scratch.

What is added to your project

Ready-to-use databases. Edit one row and every page that shows it updates.

    The checklist

    What your website
    must contain.

The sections that actually bring in enquiries, and the ones you can skip.

Three prices per service, with the weights

Small, medium and large, and the kilos that separate them.

    How long each groom takes

So the owner knows whether to leave the dog for the morning.

A gallery labelled breed by breed

Real dogs from your table, with the cut you gave them.

How you handle a frightened dog

Breaks, no sedatives, shorter visits when fear is too strong.

Salon hours or the days of your round

Opening times for a shop, towns and weekdays for a van.

Reviews about a nervous dog's first visit

The owner who says their dog now trots in reassures the next one.

    01Budget

    What it really
    costs.

Real figures, including what you pay elsewhere and what you no longer pay here.

Preparing the salon's site costs nothing

You build and preview it for free, and no bank card is asked for.

Going live, then adding a diary if needed

On your own domain it is €14 excl. VAT a month, paid yearly, with hosting and the SSL certificate included. Online booking is an option from €19 excl. VAT a month, paid into your Stripe account with no Communik commission. FAQ, reviews, gallery and blog modules can be added at any time.

What the site does not replace at the salon

Your card terminal, the shampoos and accessories sold at the counter, your Google Business Profile, and a domain name if you do not own one yet.

    02To avoid

    The mistakes that
    cost you clients.

Seen on hundreds of sites in this trade, and each one is cheap to fix.

One "from" price for every dog

A Yorkshire and a Golden Retriever do not take the same time: the owner of the big dog feels misled.

Stock photos instead of your dogs

Owners recognise library pictures and want to see what leaves your table.

Silence on sedatives and cage drying

It is exactly what the owner of an anxious dog worries about.

A request with no weight or breed

You have to call back just to ask, and the owner may have booked elsewhere by then.

A van with no published round

Requests come from villages you never visit, and the right ones get lost among them.

The coat is matted, the dog keeps scratching, the holidays start in ten days. The owner picks up a phone, types dog groomer near me or dog groomer in Nantes, and opens three salons. The one who gets the call is the one who answers the two questions in their head: how much for my dog, and will my dog be all right with you.

"How much for a cocker spaniel?"

You hear it on the phone ten times a week, and a single price cannot answer it. A Yorkshire takes forty minutes, a Bernese Mountain Dog half a day. Give every service three prices, small, medium and large, and state the weight limits under the grid: up to 10 kg, 10 to 25 kg, over 25 kg, or your own thresholds. Add the usual time, so the owner knows whether to drop the dog off for the morning or wait nearby. If you do not take giant breeds, leave that price empty rather than writing "on request".

Photos taken just before the dog goes home

Nobody chooses a groomer from a sentence about passion. They choose from a Bichon with a neat round head, a Shih Tzu with its topknot, a Poodle in a scissor cut. Take the photo on the table, in good light, before the owner arrives, and label it: the dog's name, its breed, the cut. Ten real dogs from your salon say more about your hands than any stock picture, and they show which coats you know well.

The dog that shakes, the felted coat, the elderly dog

These are the owners who hesitate longest, and the ones who stay loyal for fifteen years once reassured. Write down what you actually do:

    • one dog at a time on the table, with no cage to wait in for hours between bath and cut;
    • no sedatives, ever: breaks, patience, and shorter visits if fear wins;
    • a coat too felted to brush out without pain is clipped short, because it grows back.

Say it in your own words, and only what is true in your salon.

A dog groomer website for a van as well as a shop

Mobile grooming changes the questions. The owner no longer asks where you are, but whether you come to their village and on which day. Replace the address with the area you cover and list your round: Tuesday on the coast, Thursday in the villages north of town. Say where you park, whether you need a power socket, and how long the van stays. Requests from forty kilometres away stop arriving, and the ones that do arrive fit your week.

Call back once, with the slot and the price

A message saying "hello, I would like a grooming" means a second call just to ask about the dog. Ask for it straight away: name and breed, approximate weight, the service wanted, a preferred day, and a free line where the owner can mention a nervous, matted or elderly dog. With that, your call back takes two minutes and ends with a date in the diary. If you would rather owners picked a slot themselves, the online booking option puts your real diary on the site.

Put your price grid and your freshly groomed dogs online tonight, and watch the salon's site take shape before you even open an account.

    Questions

    Before you start.
    Everything else, just ask.

What people ask before they get going.

I do not groom giant breeds. Can I hide that price?

Yes. Leave the large-dog price of a service empty and its box disappears from the grid. It is clearer for the owner than a refusal on the phone.

I groom from a van. How do I show my round?

One of the five designs is made for mobile groomers: the address becomes the area you cover, and the week shows which towns you visit on which day.

Can I list cat grooming too?

Yes. Cat grooming is a service like the others, with its own description, time and prices. The example site already includes one that you can keep, change or delete.

What should I write under each gallery photo?

The dog's name, its breed and the cut you did. While you are still taking photos, an option hides the gallery so the page never shows an empty grid.

Can owners choose their own grooming slot?

Yes, with the online booking option, from €19 excl. VAT a month. Payments go to your own Stripe account and Communik takes no commission. Without it, owners send a request and you call back.

What do I receive when an owner fills in the form?

The dog's name and breed, its approximate weight, the grooming wanted, the preferred day and a free note, often about a nervous dog or a knotted coat. Enough to quote a time and a price.
