A storage unit is rarely planned months ahead. Works start next week, a lease ends on Friday, the garage can no longer hold the stock. How do people know which size they need?
Almost nobody can turn a flat into square metres. A self storage website that states the monthly price
Storage is a monthly expense, and people calculate it straight away: three months of works, a year abroad. Give each size its price per month, then the conditions that reassure: no minimum beyond the first month, fifteen days' notice, one month's deposit returned when the unit is left empty and clean. These lines remove the fear of a long contract, which is what stops most hesitant visitors.
Access, code and padlock
Customers want to know when they can come and who else can open their unit. Say it clearly: a personal code for the gate and the building, access seven days a week within set hours, office hours for signing, and a unit closed only by the customer's own padlock. Mention the video protection and the compulsory insurance of stored goods, with your contract or their own policy. Add the hours of the office, where padlocks, boxes and covers can be bought on the way in, and say whether trolleys and a goods lift are lent for the first floor.

A family between two homes and an online shop do not read the same page. The family wants to load the car at the door and come back on a Saturday. Visitors never know which size to choose. How does the site help?
Each size says what it holds in everyday words: about ten boxes, a student room, a two-bedroom flat, a house. The reservation form also accepts a description of what they want to store, so you can suggest the right unit.
Is this the same as the removals module?
No. The removals site sells moves with a truck, a team and a quote. This one rents units by the month to people who come with their own car and close the unit with their own padlock.
Can I list what may not be stored?
Yes, it is one of the rules on the home page: food and perishables, flammable or dangerous products, gas bottles, weapons and explosives, animals and illegal goods. It also says that nobody lives or works in a unit.
Can customers reserve a unit online?
The reservation form keeps the request for you to confirm. For instant reservations and online payment, the booking option starts at €19 excl. VAT a month and pays into your own Stripe account.
Can business customers find what they need?
Yes. The Bin Labels design speaks to online shops, craftsmen and companies: early access, delivery reception at the office and monthly invoices in the company's name.
Prices including or excluding VAT?
The examples are shown including VAT, as most customers are private individuals. You can switch the wording if your site rents mostly to businesses.
